1.1.A.140 Annual notional partnered pension rate (PBS)

Definition

For the purposes of PBS, the annual notional partnered pension rate is the rate used to calculate the amount of pension bonus (1.1.P.130) payable if the person has had a change in marital status during the last 5 years of accruing membership (1.1.A.20).

If the person is partnered (1.1.P.70) at the time of claiming the pension bonus, then the annual notional partnered pension rate is the annual rate of pension granted.

If the person is single at the time of claiming a pension bonus, the annual notional partnered rate is worked out using the adjusted percentage (1.1.A.60).
