3.13.5.20 Overpayments of Northern Territory CDEP Transition Payment

Summary

The Northern Territory CDEP transition payment is a social security payment and any overpayments will be recovered as debts under the social security law.

 

Overpayments of the Northern Territory CDEP transition payment may be due to reasons including, but not limited to, provision of false or misleading information in relation to:

  • a person's eligibility for CDEP as at 23 July 2007, or
  • a person's pre- or post-transition fortnightly income, or
  • any other information that would impact on the qualification, payability or rate of the Northern Territory CDEP transition payment.
