DFISA is paid to people who have a social security pension or benefit that is reduced (including to a nil rate) by the inclusion of the ADP in the income test assessment. DFISA is paid by DVA.
An amount of bereavement payment based on the rate of DFISA paid prior to a person's death may be paid by DVA on that person's death.
