9.2.1.30 Visa Subclass 070 Bridging (Removal Pending) Visa

This visa subclass came into effect on 11 May 2005.

 

A bridging visa subclass 070 may be issued by DIAC to those found not to be refugees and in detention for extended periods because of a variety of reasons and when the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship is satisfied that the person's removal from Australia is not reasonably practicable at the time.
