1.1.I.120 Intervening activity (JETCCFA)

Definition

An intervening JETCCFA activity means a JETCCFA activity other than the activity for which approval is being sought.

Note: A person should use the total allocation of an activity limit before being required to undertake an intervening activity, unless exceptional circumstances apply. Once an activity limit is reached, if a person wishes to be reassessed for further assistance they would then need to complete an intervening activity.

JETCCFA cannot be granted for a subsequent JETCCFA activity unless:

  • the activity is not a continuation of an earlier activity that has reached its activity approval limit, and
  • the person has completed an intervening JETCCFA activity (exceptions apply to LMPs).

Study and training activities

Where a person has already completed their 24 months JETCCFA for a study or training activity, the intervening activity must be an activity other than job search.
