8. Base FTB child rate

8. For the purposes of this Division, the base FTB child rate for an FTB child of an individual is the rate that would be the FTB child rate under subclause 26(2) if:

(a): the individual's Part A rate were being worked out under Part 3; and

(b): clause 27 did not apply.
