1.1.C.17 Care load (CP (child), CA (child))

Definition

For the purpose of CP (child) and CA (child), care load is a measure of the level of care required by a care receiver, because of their severe disability (1.1.S.133), severe medical condition (1.1.S.130), disability (1.1.D.160) or medical condition (1.1.M.90) as assessed under the DCLA (Child).

 

The DCLA is comprised of:

  • a carer questionnaire (the ACL questionnaire), and
  • a THP (1.1.T.170) questionnaire (the professional questionnaire).
