1.1.T.137 Training activity (DSP)

Definition

This definition applies to people who claimed DSP on or after 1 July 2006 and those who claimed DSP between 11 May 2005 and 30 June 2006 and have been reviewed and assessed as eligible for DSP under the 15 hour rule since 1 July 2006.

 

For the purposes of DSP, a training activity includes:

  • education,
  • pre-vocational training,
  • vocational training,
  • vocational rehabilitation, and
  • work related training (including on-the-job training).

 

Training also includes activities specifically designed for people with disabilities.
