The Agreement with Norway does not contain special provisions to make it compulsory for people claiming Australian pensions under the Agreement to also claim a pension from Norway. However, all claimants under the Agreement are required to take reasonable action to claim any entitlement from overseas, including Norway, as are people who claim autonomously. This requirement is covered by CFP legislation explained in 7.3.1.
