3.10.3.90 Cheque Payments

Summary

Customers paid by cheque prior to 1 July 1999 will continue to be paid by cheque after 1 July 1999. Cheques will be printed overnight at the end of a customer's entitlement period (1.1.E.125) and mailed the following working day.

 

This applies to all social security payments (section 23(1)-'social security payment') made by cheque including those made to CIS customers.
