61.                    Deduction at request of recipient

 

61.  The Secretary may make deductions from instalments of a social security payment payable to a person if the person asks the Secretary:

 

(a)

to make the deductions; and

(b)

to pay the amounts deducted to the Commissioner of Taxation.
