Consumer Training and Support Products

Consumer Training and Support products, including multimedia training and information products, are being developed for the disability employment sector. The following groups have been targeted for different products:

The products are intended for disability services to provide information and training to their staff, people with disability within their service, and other groups as appropriate.

Employers

These materials have been developed primarily to support the training and information needs of support staff and managers employed in Disability Business Services and Advocacy Services.

Employees

These materials have been developed primarily to support the training and information needs of people with disability employed in business services and using advocacy services.

Working Safely

External

These materials have been developed primarily to support Disability Business Services to provide information about their services to the wider community.

Trainers

These materials have been developed primarily to assist support workers and managers in Disability Business Services and Advocacy Services to provide training to other employees in these services including people with disability. They may also be useful in meeting similar needs of other employers, parents and carers and the wider community.
